Sports Centre:
The School has Volley ball, Basket ball , Kho- Kho and Throw ball courts as well as fields for Football, Cricket, Archery and a 100 metre Athletics track. Carom, Table Tennis and Chess are the other indoor games which the students enjoy playing.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Centre
The use of ICT is in evidence throughout the Star School campus with sophisticated networked nodes, SMART rooms, computer system installation and fast Internet connections. The Internet connections, digital projection and audio visual systems and a host of ICT hardware enhance the quality and depth of learning for the students as also for the teaching community at Star School. The website of the school contributes immensely to the dispersal of information and interactive communication capabilities.

The kitchen at Star School is of the highest standard and well-equipped. We prepare full meal a day as well as in mid-morning and an afternoon snack. The menus are varied and offer several cultural cuisines.
Vegetarian dishes are served at all meals. All meals are supervised by the staff. Students are expected to attend all meals.

LIBRARY RULES
The library is one of our most valuable assets. Kindly respect the library by following these rules:
- All the students and staff of the school are members of the library.
- A student can borrow only one book at a time for a period of two weeks.
- A staff member can borrow a maximum of three books at a time for a period of one month.
- No book will be issued or returned during the teaching hours.
- All books must be entered in the library register before they are taken from the library.
- Books are issued for the use of only the borrower. Hence, he or she may not exchange them with anyone else.
- Books must be examined by the borrower before leaving the library and damages must be brought to the notice of the librarian. The borrower will be held responsible for the damages while the books are in his or her charge.
- Marking, writing or any damages on library books is strictly forbidden.
- Failure to return a book on the expiry date will invoke a payment of fine of 10 rupees per day.
- The librarian may call for a book at any time even if the normal period of loan has not expired.
- In case a book is misused, wrongly handled or lost, the person concerned will have to replace the book or pay three times the price of the book.
- A 'No Due Certificate' by each student is to be obtained from the librarian at the end of each academic year. Read more
Sports
The school playground is one of the most important places in our young students? lives. From the time that children start preschool, all the way through the end of senior school, the playground is the main place where they spend breaks and recess. The campus is also equipped with a standard indoor sports complex with a six lane swimming pool and fully equipped gymnasium, play grounds, game courts and park lands.
The sports offered are swimming, lawn tennis, table tennis , squash , basketball, football, cricket, athletics, badminton and yoga. The school employs professional coaches who have the expertise and passion. Children are trained and prepared for intra and inter school competitions and also on a district and national level.

IIS offers an on-campus residential facility throughout the academic year, with both weekly and regular boarding, for students in Grade 3 to Grade 12. Weekly boarders reside at school from Monday to Friday and return home for the weekends, while regular boarders live on campus through the academic year.
Hostel Rooms and Food
The hostels are spacious, comfortable, and are allocated on a shared basis (two to three per room) to encourage socialization, and emotional and mental well-being. Each residential facility also houses a TV room and a common study area; dinner is served in the dining hall, which offers healthy and in-house cooked meals, with a varied menu to cater to international and Indian boarding residents.
